Elica Stripe 60cm Chimney Hood

Ascent is one of the new vertical extractor hoods proposed by Elica in 2014. Like the other vertical extractor hoods, Ascent has a strong visual impact: limited lines and a simple design are what characterise the kitchen. Precisely because it is vertical, Ascent offers total freedom of movement: it can be aligned perfectly with the cabinets, offering all the space needed to cook in complete comfort. Ascent also has two extraction sources: the air is extracted both by the lower part of the extractor hood and by the front slot of the panel.
Back Aspiration
There are now more ways of installing your extraction hood. On models with this function, it is possible to rotate the conveyor and directly connected the hood with the outlet in the wall behind it or in other models, the special architecture of the product allows the wall outlet to be created with a 90-degree elbow pipe. Thus, you can rely on maximum extraction while preserving the original outward appearance of the product which will not be modified by pipes or additional visible flues.
Long Life Filter
To ensure the best performance and long-term duration of your hood, the traditional filters must be replaced every 3-6 months. To simplify the maintenance operations, Elica has designed the innovative, regenerable Long Life odour filter which lasts up to three years. Just wash it with hot water and neutral soap or in the dishwasher at 65° and dry it in the oven at 100° for ten minutes every two months to keeping it looking good as new. The level of efficiency is about 60%.
Easy Maintenance
Keeping your hood clean not only ensures maximum hygiene in the kitchen but also long life for the product. The Elica models are designed with materials and finishes for instant maintenance operations. All the components, such as the grease and odour filters, can be easily accessed and removed so they can be washed or rapidly replaced.
